China holds sociologist for leaking state secrets

Lu Jianhua (陸建華), 45, a prominent sociologist at Chinese Academy of Social Science (CASS), and Chen Hui (陳輝), assistant to Director of the research institute, were reportedly detained in April and May respectively on suspicion of “leaking state secret”. CASS claimed ignorance of the detention, but noticed that Although Lu and Chen did not come to the office for a while.

Tibetans, Chinese Security Forces Clash in Qinghai
